Why Film, Why Now

United Religions Initiative is a grassroots network of Cooperation Circles working across religious, spiritual, and indigenous traditions for peace and justice. Reel Connections extends that work to the screen: four evenings, four values, four films chosen to spark the kind of dialogue that outlasts the runtime.

A rabbi and an imam build an unlikely friendship while serving together as university chaplains.

Survivors and former combatants from three conflicts work together toward restorative justice and forgiveness.

Where
In person at a host Cooperation Circle, with a livestream option for national attendees.
Format
60–90 min screening followed by a 30 min facilitated conversation with a local interfaith guest.
Cost
Free and open to the public; donations support URI North America programming.
