URI Stories of Impact

Recently I decided to run for political office in 2018 for the state of Alabama. Friends who know me well have asked me, “Why are you running?”

The United Religions Initiative (URI), a global interfaith network composed of grassroots groups called Cooperation Circles, just expanded its reach to 100 countries worldwide.

Many regional Cooperation Circles collaborated to celebrate a string of interfaith holidays with selfless acts and interfaith learning.

Zero Limits Cooperation Circle, with the URI South India Region, hosted the Girls Summit 2017 in Kerala, India, to educate and empower teenage girls.

On the 10th of April, 2017, URI Pakistan, in collaboration with Light of Hope Cooperation Circle, organized training with twenty-one participants, male and female, at Dilkusha Garden in Lahore.
