URI Stories of Impact

As we welcome the Kosovo Center for Dialogue to the worldwide family of URI Cooperation Circles this month, we not only welcome seven new people to further URI’s global reach -- we also welcome a whole new country!

February 1-7 of each year has been designated World Interfaith Harmony Week (WIHW) by the United Nations. 

SOMESHA visited the Community Concern Organization (COCO) offices, including the Medical Center Hospital (MCH) in Hamar-jajab district in Mogadishu, to observe their health services, including those for HIV/AIDS patients and sexual violence survivors.

In Germany, three URI Cooperation Circles have signed a statement that affirms freedom of religion.

“We people of diverse religions, spiritual expressions and Indigenous traditions throughout the world…” The URI Charter defines the concept of “We” in a powerful and sacred way.
