URI Stories of Impact

Taking into consideration on the important role of arts as a critical mobilizer of transformation and the largest medium of communication to channel a message of peaceful co-existences, harmony, building national cohesion, unity and reconciliation, URI-Africa signed an agreement with Soto Koto Media Entertainment, Ltd.

If our beliefs are built on sound foundation, making common cause with others becomes an easy and gratifying task. One does not have to loose one's identity, but one is asked to embrace the others. By celebrating our differences, at the same time, we richen ourselves and others from the encounter; instead of its being a clash of civilizations and cultures, it becomes an amalgam of cultural experiences which makes us better persons.

In Russia there is a great number of people following the idea of building Peace through Culture, and who speak more and more about Spiritual Culture

In Bonn members of the DMLBonn CC, URI Germany CC and the Baha’i community Bonn celebrated UN International Day of Peace with an interfaith film evening on September 15, 2015.

URI has been a presence at Peace in the Park since its inception in 2013, and was happy to return as an exhibitor for this year’s festivities.
