On March 31st, 2015, URI youth ambassador and URI Africa Administration officer Annirene Nyambura Mundia visited the Kilelengwani school.

Since starting an interfaith Cooperation Circle, Lori Whittemore has met a rich array of people from groups she had no idea were even a part of her community.

On Thursday morning, I spoke to 20 student from several African Nations (including Kenya) on the topic of "Achieving Harmony between Ethnic and Religious Groups."

These Cooperation Circles are working to improve the quality of life in Spain and Kenya by encouraging educational opportunities such as interfaith learning, human rights awareness, vocational training, and mentorship programs.

On March 27, approximately 200 members of the faith communities from across Contra Costa County, California formed a Ring of Solidarity around the Islamic Center of San Ramon Valley, just as the Muslim community recently encircled the Jewish community in Oslo, Norway and Copenhagen recently. 

In the midst of the increasing chasm of discord and misunderstanding that exists between the Middle East and the West, the 7th CARAVAN Exhibition of Visual Art titled The Bridge will open on April 4 in Cairo, Egypt.

IBS CC celebrated World Interfaith Harmony Week by organizing a moment of meditation with the renewed Living and Care Centre "Jonker Frans" for elder people in The Hague.

As one of the participants in this important workshop, I provide a report that is intended to motivate active participation of my colleagues in the interfaith environmental related civil society work, and to bring inspiration and understanding into the work of the URI Global Initiative.
