The Seeds of Peace Cooperation Circle celebrated International Women’s Day by honoring the achievements of an extraordinary young woman.

URI Global Council Chair Kiran Bali hosted an interfaith celebration of Holi at the Sita Rama Hindu Temple in the English city of Huddersfield.

Peace activists Ronny Edry of Israel and Majid Nowrouzi of Iran never expected to meet.  Then Majid learned that both he and Ronny would be in the U.S. 

The Rev. James Channan, URI’s Regional Coordinator for Pakistan, will be a keynote speaker at a conference examining peace and justice issues through the lens of Catholic social thought.

In celebration of International Women’s Day, URI Global Council Chair Kiran Bali hosted an interfaith “Women Against Violence” event in Yorkshire, England.
