URI Stories of Impact

I write to inform you that URI’s Celestial CC has gained a new angel with the sudden passing of Peggy Olsen, who lived and served for many years as part of the heart of URI.

One of the most important missions for humanity at this stage must be to bring people together with the shared goal of creating a peaceful world for all to live in. And this is what we are trying to address through the International Golden Rule Day.

Celebrations and actions around the world mark International Golden Rule Day April 5th.

Kiran Bali, member of URI Europe Executive Committee, represented the Hindu perspective, along with Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Sikh, Buddhist and Baha'i representatives, in an interfaith promotion of Live Below the Line, a UK charity effort that will challenge people to live on £1 a day for four days this May.
