Din Ilahi was a movement started by Akbar, one of the ancient Mughal emperors of India who wanted to bring religions together. The founders of this Cooperation Circle (CC) adopted this name to reflect their goodwill towards all people of God. This group is made up of artists and film producers who are working to bring about understanding, tolerance, and national integration. Among other activities, Din Ilahi Kaviyoor CC participates in annual retreats and celebrates events like International Day of Peace and Interfaith Harmony Week.
