Mother Earth Sustainable Agriculture Association (MESAA), is a not-for-profit organization, located in Kumba-South, Western Cameroon.
It is a community-based gathering of like-minded farmers whose aim is to promote an organic and chemical-free farming system within the community.
Members conduct training programs for women farmers to empower them with knowledge and skills in regenerative agriculture. Programs typically include agro-forestry, mulching, and no-till farming techniques as well as financial management and marketing.
The goal is to improve food security, income, and overall livelihoods of women farmers. Trainings provided by MESAA are free and designed for everyone in the community.
It does not serve a tribe or religious organization. MESAA’s long-term vision is to contribute a safe, healthy community where the people and all members of the living habitat (people, trees, plants and animals) are integrated as a thriving ecosystem.
