Team1699 was established in 2018 with the profound understanding that the challenges facing the modern world—ranging from social polarization to global conflicts—can be mitigated through greater interfaith collaboration. Rooted in Guru Nanak Sahib Ji’s principles of “Sarbat da Bhala” (welfare of all) and universal inclusivity, the organization seeks to channel the teachings of all religions as a force for uniting humanity. The year of 1699 marks the founding of Khalsa Panth by the tenth Sikh guru, Guru Gobind Singh.
Team1699 carries forward its mission through dynamic engagement strategies, including interfaith dialogues, thought-provoking seminars, and skill-building workshops. These initiatives aim to bridge the gaps between communities, addressing misconceptions and encouraging a shared vision of coexistence. Members from the Sikhism, Hinduism and Islamic backgrounds at Team1699 envision religion not as a source of division but as a powerful tool for global reconciliation and harmony.
