In a country still undergoing violence and displacements, Wipe My Tears Foundation is dealing with trauma to restore peace in broken communities. WTF aims to build connection, trust and harmony in the community, empowering HIV positive women and children, the disabled, orphans and street kids to live their full potential, free from violence and discrimination, and helping them to be able to make decisions affecting their lives.

Members achieve their goals through training women on conflict resolution because they believe that women are the power of influence on men, through community dialogue in co-existence, through advocacy for the rights of persons with disabilities, and through creating awareness of HIV and prevention of mother-to-child-transmission. WTF works in partnership with other NGOs to expand their impact.
