The American Yangzhu Taoist Association was founded in 2025 and is headquartered in New York. The association's mission is to promote Taoist culture, facilitate international Taoist exchange, and serve the community. It is committed to inheriting and developing the spiritual values and wisdom of Taoism in contemporary society. Adhering to the philosophy of "Inheriting the Dharma of Jingyang and Spreading the Tao to the West," this association organizes scripture recitation, lectures, cultural activities, and public welfare undertakings to promote the integration of traditional Taoist classics, talismanic lineages, health cultivation, and modern society. Yangzhu, meaning the rising sun and soaring upwards, symbolizes the light and vitality of the Taoist spirit. The American Yangzhu Taoist Association is willing to join hands with all sectors of society to promote the excellent traditional culture of Taoism and to promote Taoist wisdom to serve the human spirit and world peace.

Through interfaith dialogue, shared learning, and community engagement focused on peacebuilding and mutual understanding, the Cooperation Circle seeks to contribute the Taoist cultural and philosophical perspective to collaborative efforts for peace, mutual understanding, and social harmony across diverse spiritual backgrounds.
