Soup Kitchen Amped Up

A new group of amateur chefs joined the soup kitchen project, today. Wow, did they kick up the flavor quotient. A large bag of donated apples, which might have been lost to applesauce, got peeled, chunked, browned, and baked with delicious sweet spices; the blanched vegetable medley tasted incredible with a spicy red pepper sauce; and the staple favorite macaroni with savory cheese blend got revamped with chopped cauliflower. Yes, cauliflower mac 'n' cheese is delicious!

More hands on deck make cooking large portions no trouble at all--We do this in several small batches in our tiny start-up kitchen, all to the sweet sounds of Sanskrit chanting. Yes, mantra is an important ingredient!
