Payam-e-Aman (Peace) Rally on the Eve of National Minority Day by Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights

As National Minorities day observes on 11 August each year in Pakistan. On the eve of National Minorities Day Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights (PCSWHR) and Christian Union Pakistan organized the Payam-e-Aman (Peace) Rally from Sialkot Press Club to Murray College Sialkot. PCSW&HR’s Chairman Mr. Muhammad Ijaz Noori, Chairperson Christian Union Pakistan Mr. Emmanuel Gill, well renowned religious leader Allama Syed Jawad Ul Hassan and PCSW&HR Executive Director Mr. Mansoor Ahmed, Director Ch. Muhammad Ijaz, Pastor Javed Sovetra from UP Church, Mr. Riaz Bhatti, Dr. Yaqoob Rafee, Prof. Sajjad Haider, Mr. Nadeem Sovertra and other people from every walks of life belonging from various religions participated in the rally. The purpose of this rally was to show the solidarity with the Armed forces and martyrs of operation Zarb-e-Azab, Radul Fassad and others those scarified their lives for Pakistan to fight against terrorism and extremism. During the rally participants raised the slogan they first they all are Pakistani and then belong to any religion, participants pledged that they will work for the human dignity, interfaith harmony, culture of peace.
