Last Friday, September 4, 2020, Global Councilor Sofía Painiqueo, also a primary contact for CC Aflaiai, participated in an interview via live - facebook in commemoration of the International Day of Indigenous Women. The program is called La Once Huacha, directed by the Anthropologist Alejandra Alvear and Sonia Montecino who is the Director of the Rectánillos de Agua Foundation, both conductors talked with Sofía about the demands, spirits and Mapuche songs in the midst of a context of conflict that is going through the Mapuche People and the Chilean State at this time. It was a reflective space loaded with cultural elements expressed by Sofía as an active member of her culture and an agent of respectful dialogue that seeks a culture of peace, justice and healing for all.
