From May 9 to 11, Sarajevo became a hub of energy, ideas, and inspiration as more than 70 young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Europe gathered for the Active Youth Forum, a three-day event dedicated to empowering youth and encouraging active citizenship.

YOUTH SARAJEVO

Participants explored what it means to be an active young person—engaging in community work, launching initiatives, joining youth organizations, and building connections with fellow activists.

Through interactive workshops, discussions, and collaborative projects, they shared experiences, developed new skills, and planned future actions for positive change.

The event was part of the ASPYRE EUROPE project, coordinated by Polylogos (Romania) in cooperation with Cooperativa Agorà (Italy) and Youth for Peace and Nit (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and funded by the European Union.

The forum not only strengthened youth networks across borders but also left a lasting impact on all participants, reminding us that active youth are key drivers of social progress.

The future is bright—and it's young, engaged, and unstoppable!
