To support your planning, we’ve compiled a list of suggested activities that can be adapted to your local context and needs. Whether you’re planning a large event or a quiet reflection, your contribution matters.

Interfaith and Peacebuilding Activities

  • Host interfaith prayers or reflection gatherings
  • Organize dialogue circles on peace, coexistence, or faith-based action
  • Collaborate with other CCs or organizations for regional or global conversations

Violence Prevention and Healing

  • Hold peace circles or conversations on nonviolence
  • Offer workshops on conflict transformation, nonviolent communication, or trauma healing
  • Launch a peace pledge campaign or memorial activity to honor those affected by violence

Earth Healing and Environmental Action

  • Lead a community clean-up or reforestation activity
  • Host workshops on environmental justice as a peacebuilding issue
  • Organize a walk or blessing ceremony for the Earth

Youth Engagement and Education

  • Facilitate peace education sessions in schools or youth groups
  • Organize youth-led events, panels, or art contests around the IDP theme
  • Invite young people to co-lead your event or contribute through storytelling

Arts, Culture, and Storytelling
