URI Stories of Impact

By translating words into actions we can all make a valuable and tangible impact, beginning with the cleaning, clean water and toilets at our places of worship and pilgrimage sites.

URI Africa joins leaders of Muslim, Christian and other religious communities from Iraq, Syria and the larger Middle East region in denouncing all violence in the name of religion.

A few weeks ago, I spent several days at my first URI North America regional leadership gathering in Nevada. 

PEACE CC member and environment activist, Sirajuddin. M. Horaginamani encouraged and joined hands with school children to support ‘Clean India Mission’ (Swachh Bharath Abhiyan) at Holy Creseant Educational Society’s Alhuda School situated in KHB Colony of  Bijapur City, Karnataka on 25^th November, 2014.

It may be difficult to define the boundaries of an inner ethical compass, the way the heart senses something can be surprisingly sharp.

AFCOPB has successfully help the 2nd West Africa Microfinance Conference in Accra.

The West Africa Microfinance Conference is part of AFCOPB's Civil Society Forum on Microfinance which seeks to empower the microfinance sector in the sub-region to meet it original objectives.

The 2015 Parliament's theme, “Reclaiming the Heart of Our Humanity: Working Together for a World of Compassion with Peace, Justice, and Sustainability,” speaks strongly to the work of URI.
