As URI Executive Director Victor Kazanjian likes to say: Cooperation Circles (CCs) are at the heart of URI.

After a long morning of several interfaith youth meetings in Sarajevo, I joined my fellow URI Global Youth Ambassadors.

“Religion Makes Democracy” was the title of a three-day interfaith meeting of roughly 60 Christians, Muslims, Jews, Humanists and Agnostics of all ages at Nordwalde, Germany's Protestant Youth Education Centre.

In late May, Global Compassion, a non-governmental organization working in humanitarian aid, development, and security based in Cameroon.

A friendly cricket match in Huddersfield, UK, was a prime opportunity to embrace people from all communities through team sports. The focus was on relationship-building and a sporting spirit towards community cohesion.

For four years, URI has run a Global Youth Ambassadors Program to give young people around the world the opportunity to develop as leaders who run their own interfaith projects.

URI Europe took part in Sarajevo Peace Event and organized a workshop under the theme "A Culture of Peace and Nonviolence" together with Balkan as a Soul Bridge CC and Europe Youth Leadership CC.

On May 22nd, I attended an event in San Rafael, CA organized by the Marin Interfaith Council (MIC) titled: "Faith in the Millennial Generation: An Interfaith Youth Panel."

"Never condemn the young people; they will rise up and build.” Here rests a great soul (Mahatma) in the form of Brother Roger, who always spoke like this.
