URI Stories of Impact

We mourn alongside our sisters & brothers in Nairobi, Kenya & Jos, Nigeria for the loss of life & injuries suffered during this past week’s bombings. 

EcoPeace/Friends of the Earth Middle East (FoEME) became a member of the URI family in late April.

The Huddersfield Interfaith Council, located in West Yorkshire, Northern England, has elected URI Global Chair Kiran Bali as its new president.

URI's Multiregion organized International Day of Peace events like this one, held in Alexandria, Virginia. 

The 35th Annual Pan African Cultural Festival will be held May 24, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at MacGregor Park, 5225 Calhoun, Houston, Texas.

URI's United Nations representative, Monica Willard, invited me to participate in an interfaith service at the Church Center in the morning of April 30, 2014.
