Africa’s most passionate advocate for the Golden Rule, Ambassador Mussie Hailu, is now building support for a “Green Rule” to improve conservation throughout the continent.

Religious leaders, Cooperation Circle members and other peacebuilders from throughout Asia and the Pacific came together in India this week for URI’s Traveling Peace Academy. 

Members of the Blantyre Cooperation Circle will take to the airwaves as participants in one of Malawi’s most popular radio magazine programs for young people.

Kiran Bali, chair of URI’s Global Council, celebrated the 66^th Independence Day of India with an interfaith event at the Sita Rama Hindu Temple in the British city of Huddersfield. 

URI, the United Nations, and many other organizations and people throughout the world will celebrate the International Day of Peace on Sept. 21, 2012.

"Hariyali" - A tribal movement to save nature, initiated by Ranchi Peace Circle and supported by the Environmental Seed Grants of URI. We started our action to form the network among the members and various tribal community leaders with the help of Birsa Munda Jan Vikash Kendra CC. Specially focusing on very challenging and affected district of Khunti by environmental degradation.

URI’s Multi-Region team has created a virtual “book club” in which members can discuss books, magazines and articles on interfaith work.
