URI Executive Director Charles Gibbs is looking forward to participating May 20 in the Symphony of Peace Prayers, held at the foot of Japan’s Mount Fuji.

The seaside city of Varna, Bulgaria played host to a conference on migration issues and an interfaith workshop in late March – two events that drew many participants from URI Europe.

URI’s Hub staff raised more than $200 to fight hunger by participating in the San Francisco CROP Walk on April 29.

Forty religious leaders from four major traditions are preparing to host the second of two interfaith exchanges in Sri Lanka organized by the Sarvodaya Shanti Sena CC. 

Despina Namwembe, URI’s sub-regional coordinator for Africa’s Great Lakes region, will address the Finnish Social Forum on April 21.
