Members of 6 (six) Cooperation Circles gathered in Buenos Aires to celebrate World Interfaith Harmony Week.

Our advisor Bob Barrett has described how “the ten roles (outlined in this book) might be useful for us to think about as we envision what roles URI might play, and how the Conflict Resolution/Peacebuilding Satellite might describe such functions, for the future.”

Hundreds of believers of different faiths particiapated in two seminars on religious harmony held by the Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights (PCSW&HR) in celebration of World Interfaith Harmony Week during the 1st week of February 2011.

I awoke this morning in the Gurudwara Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha in Birmingham eagerly anticipating a day that I had no idea would end with me sitting in front of a television in the Coventry home of my dear friend and colleague, Deepak Naik, watching the outpouring of jubilation in Egypt.

Wednesday, 10 February 2011 was the center of my trip – a day hosted by the URI UK, bringing together members, current and potential partners, and representatives of URI Europe and the global URI to receive an extended briefing on URI UK’s innovative work as it renews itself with seven new trustees, average age 34.
