The Ashoka Charitable Trust was founded in April 2025 by Amrish Rai, inspired by a profound commitment to social justice, environmental stewardship, cultural regeneration, and inclusive development. The Trust was established to honor the vision of Late Ashok Rai and to build an institutional foundation for long-term social transformation. The objectives of Ashoka Charitable Trust - ACT grow from a simple belief: lasting change begins with compassion, awareness, and collective action. Rooted in the ethos of service to both humanity and nature, the Trust seeks to address the deep and diverse challenges of our times with compassion, courage, and creativity.
