NGO Fondacija Mentorium was established in 2024 in Montenegro with a focus on peacebuilding, nonviolence, mental wellbeing, and support for vulnerable groups. Since its founding, the organization has developed a growing portfolio of community-based initiatives aimed at strengthening social cohesion and promoting a culture of empathy and understanding. In its early development phase, the Mentorium has initiated and supported programs focused on children without adequate parental care, children with developmental disabilities, and young people facing social and emotional challenges. These activities include educational workshops, psychosocial support initiatives, and awareness-raising campaigns on mental health and violence prevention. The Mentorium has also engaged in cooperation with volunteers, civil society actors, and institutional partners in Montenegro, contributing to dialogue on youth empowerment, human rights, and nonviolent communication. The organization has participated in public discussions and advocacy efforts related to mental health and social inclusion, and has begun building networks for future interfaith and intercultural cooperation. Although still a young organization, Mentorium has established a clear strategic direction and is actively expanding its impact through partnerships, community engagement, and project development aligned with European and global peacebuilding values. The Cooperation Circle engages with representatives and participants from the following faith and worldview traditions: Orthodox Christianity, Islam, Catholic Christianity, and other spiritual and interfaith community members open to dialogue and peacebuilding.
