Members of Peace Activism Cooperation Circle were already doing the work of sustainable fashion when they realized the religious diversity that made up their team. They soon understood of the impact of social justice on their work for environmental justice and focused to ensure that there is social and environmental justice where they live and around the world. They invited people from creative fields to design approaches for sharing messages with a wider reach and they partnered with National Geographic/Oceanic Global, focusing on biodegradable fashion. Most of their work has been around the climate. One of their highlights was the creation of a video reminding people of the origins of clothing and the diversity of creation. They use fashion as a medium for activism, through dialogues, fashion weeks and festivals. They have taught children from minority communities in India how to convert T-shirts into shopping bags, have prepped blind students to sew and package buttons to get them industry-ready, and have collaborated with UNICEF on Green Fair and organized BLM dialogues. Their exhibitions with the United Nations and its 'Act Now' Campaign in 2019, which was held during the UNGA, was also a highlight for Peace Activism CC. Through their work, they have helped people understand the SDG goals and the life below- and above-water. Members actively participate in Climate Action through fashion. Their recent partnership with the United Nations World Oceans Day brought about a series of dialogues which focused on the environment and social justice.
