Salud del Agua es Salud Humana en el Sur de Honduras is a community-based group committed to caring for water, the Earth, and community wellbeing through practical action and cooperation. Inspired by United Religions Initiative (URI), the group joined the network to engage in an ecumenical, values-driven space that promotes unity, peace, and environmental responsibility.
The group works on water purification, recycled and rainwater systems, reforestation, and environmental education, while also supporting peace education for children and youth in places of worship. A key milestone has been the collective reforestation of Los Jutes Village, bringing the community together in shared care for the land.
