Anando CC along with Flower Exchange Initiative CC in CHT observed its 4th International Peace Day ’11 on 21st September in Anando-Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) at Khagrachari campus focusing the main theme ‘make our voice heard’ as declared by UNESCO. It is not so easy to observe this day here in CHT,

URI Korea held a Peace Forum at the downtown in Seoul on the 20th. URI Trustee and Regional Coordinator Jinwol Lee gave a keynote speech about the "Religions' Roles for Making Social Harmony and Peace." After the Forum we had a dinner and celebrated the eve of IDP.

URI MENA members participated in a conference on "Regional variables of the current and future of the Arab world."

Suchetana Cooperation Circle in the Eastern region of India observed the International Day of Peace by organizing a remarkable program with the Leprosy Mission International and Church of North India (CNI) on the 21st September in Bankura District Town.

At least 82 people have died in India, most of them in Sikkim, others in neighboring Bihar and West Bengal. This is a time to pray for the families of those who have lost their love ones.
