Our COVID-19 campaign to support underprivileged communities has now reached 57 more families for a total of 107 families in the current pandemic. 

Swamy Vivekananda Rural Development Society, a URI member group in Telangana, India, is distributing fresh vegetables and face masks to vulnerable populations.

Mithra Foundation, a URI group in Bhongiri, Telangana, India, is gathering and distributing essential mixed vegetables to poor families.

The situation of marginalized communities of people who use drugs was particularly very critical due to food shortages, as many amongst them were on treatment and care for treating HIV, HCV, and TB.

The Latin American CC of Musicians held on Sunday April 12, 2020 an International Festival of Songwriters in a virtual way (Online) in support of the running of the bulls requested by the global pandemic Covid-19. The event was called URI International Festival of Online Composers - Songs for Peace.

Last Monday, April 6, 2020, within the framework of the celebration of the Golden Rule Day and attending to the physical distancing due to the Covid-19 pandemic, URI Latin American region members participated in a Zoom call.
