As a member of the global URI family, I count it a privilege every time I am able to see the work of a Cooperation Circle come to fruition. This past week, in a movie theater in San Francisco, myself and two other members of the URI Global Staff Deepening the Journey CC were able to see this firsthand.

Peacebuilders from California and Palestine, joined by their connection to United Religions Initiative, gathered in the San Francisco Bay Area last week. During a meeting at Sausalito Presbyterian Church, nine people gathered in a circle -- Christians and Jews, one Palestinian and eight Northern Californians, all members of the global United Religions Initiative family.
This is to inform you that URI Africa actively participated at the conference organized by the Government of Zanzibar, Global Peace Foundation, East Africa Community, and the Intergovernmental Authority on Development.
A dozen United Religions Initiative folks and their friends prepared food packages and distributed them to widows and needy families, including Syrian refugees, in Al-Mowaggar, Jordan.
