URI Stories of Impact

IBS CC celebrated World Interfaith Harmony Week by organizing a moment of meditation with the renewed Living and Care Centre "Jonker Frans" for elder people in The Hague.

As one of the participants in this important workshop, I provide a report that is intended to motivate active participation of my colleagues in the interfaith environmental related civil society work, and to bring inspiration and understanding into the work of the URI Global Initiative.

We're back with an artistic vengeance! 

These three featured Cooperation Circles, located in India, Guatemala, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, are working towards the common cause of uplifting and empowering women to improve life for all members of their respective communities.

The "Let's Eliminate Nuclear Weapons" webinar, hosted by URI North America on March 25, was a monumental moment for United Religions Initiative as we seek to more deeply engage the issue of nuclear abolition.

In times of tragedy like the Germanwings airline crash over the Alps yesterday, the URI global family gathers to extend prayers and messages of sympathy and support.

International participants traveled to take part in an environmental workshop prior to URI’s 12^th annual Circles of Light gala in March 2015.
