URI Stories of Impact

The 2014 CARAVAN Exhibition of Visual Art premiered in the US on August 30th at Washington National Cathedral and ran for six weeks.

It is not so much ‘you’ who uses your intellect in an incorrect way as your intellect who 'uses you'.

Recently I represented United Religions Initiative at the 12^th annual World Public Forum “Dialogue of Civilizations” under the theme “Preventing World War through Global Solidarity – 100 years on.”

On October 30, 2013, Elana Rozenman of the Trust WIN CC was invited to the conference in Jerusalem “Safeguarding Holy Sites in the Holy Land.”

Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights (PCSW&HR) an active Cooperation Circle (CC) of United Religions Initiatives (URI) in Pakistan  observed the International Day of Peace on 21st September 2014.  Although PCSW&HR organized various activities to observe the peace day but the main activity was peace seminar on “Right of People to Peace” organized by the PCSW&HR on 21^st September 2014 at Sialkot  - Pakistan

It was exciting to see new and young interfaith activists harnessing the URI platform for the good of their communities.

This passage by Rabindranath Tagore is included in Gitanjali, a collection of writings for which Tagore received the Noble Prize for Literature in 1912.
