URI peacebuilders in Brazil enjoyed a productive gathering during the 4th URI Brazil Multiple Cooperation Circle meeting, which was also the first international meeting, under the theme of “The Planet is Sacred and Wants Peace.”

The 4th URI Brazil MCC Meeting was held together with the 1st International Meeting “The Planet is Sacred and Wants Peace”.

During the lunch, we used many languages to understand each other and to enjoy conversations and storytelling.

The hall was full of participants despite adverse circumstances, as there were sectarian rallies on the roads so all roads to Islamabad were blocked by the police.

The event was aimed at understanding the active role of faith-based organisations in the achievement of the UN sustainability agenda 2030.
