We celebrated this beautiful peace day as a family who cares for each other, for the environment and for everyone on the planet.

URI will pray and stand beside Standing Rock as long as it takes for all Members of our Human Family to fully understand that your struggle is not only for the way of life of the Great Sioux Nation, but for the health, safety and well-being of all current and future generations of the Human Family and Life everywhere on Mother Earth.

The Brazilian and international civil society promoted, on August 1^st, a great Dignity Vigil, in Rio de Janeiro, the city that welcomed the 2016 Olympic Games.

Hope in Life Foundation, working alongside One Global Family Foundation, Council of Interfaith and Indigenous Women, Shirdi Sai Temple, and Tarzana, collaboratively served over 300 homeless brothers and sisters.

Alongside the United Nations International Day of Peace, the UN held an event titled “Sustainable Peace - Sustainable Development” at United Nations Headquarters, with a strong URI presence.

It was historic and exciting. Victor Kazanjian, URI International Executive Director, presented the first URI Asia Peace award to Most. Rev. Dr. Philipose Mar Chrysostom Mar Thoma Valiya Metropolitan.

Rev. Dr. Victor Kazanjian, URI Executive Director, blessed the foundation stone for an Interfaith Centre at Meenpidippara, Kottarakkara on September 21st (IDP) in the presence of all TPA delegates and friends.
