URI Stories of Impact

On Saturday May 22, 2021, Mauricio Actual, a member of the Bridge Builders CC (a URI member group in Buenos Aires, Argentina), organized a small meeting for peace.

On Saturday May 15, the youth of CC COEMATI (a URI member group) participated in a celebration of the day of San Juan Bautista de La Salle in Jujuy, Argentina.

Cultural, Educational and Environmental Organization (CEEO-India) is a URI member group working in Jammu and Kashmir, India.

Surendra is a cricket umpire and coach who felt the call to help his suffering community.

The children who live here return from their studies at school to a place they call home, where they can be further trained in skills that will better their future lives.

The circle has resided since the dawn of time.  As URI grows and evolves, the circle is URI’s blessing, a way to nurture one another.

This week we receive a prayer “with the earth” by John Philip Newell and a perspective on the place of joy in renewing a relationship with nature by Michael McCarthy.

The members of Pakigdait Inc. especially recognize the role of women and youth in solving and breaking the cycles of violence and in protecting the communities from the pandemic.
