Born in South Africa, Alan Paton was a teacher and wrote about the evils of Apartheid.

During URI’s early years, a small group formed in order to, as they described it, “hold the space that holds us.”

Hindus are now celebrating the festival of Chaitra Navratri, a nine-day festival which began on April 13 this year.

With the world’s climate at a tipping point, URI and the United Nations Environmental Program joined hands last week to train faith leaders and followers to become environmental heroes.
