The One Day Dialogue was organized by African Youths Initiative on Crime Prevention in response to the numerous challenges of ethno-religious intolerance in Nigeria. 

The importance of this meeting is that a Committee of Indigenous Writers "Carlos Martínez Sarasola" was formed; it is the first in the world.

The Stanford Bright Award, Stanford University's top environmental award, will be presented to URI Cooperation Circle EcoPeace Middle East on October 4, 2018.

The local government was not able to give the slum attention or assistance, so local URI members stepped in.
